1、available /əˈveɪləbəl/
available是常见的重点形容词，基本含义为“可用的，可获得的”，也可指人“有空的”，在具体语境中，这个词的翻译要灵活选用词语。
Funds are available to assist teachers who want to attend the conference. 想参加大会的教师可获得资助。
Every available officer will be assigned to the investigation. 每一名可以调用的员警都将会被派去进行调查。
Parking is readily available near the station entrance. 车站入口附近停车很方便。
The nurse is only available at certain times. 护士只在某些特定时间才空闲。
2、avenue /ˈævənjuː/
avenue是名词，它主要有两个意思。
